Our services include:

HERS Testing "HERS" stands for Home Energy Rating System. It is the common term used for testing on a home, usually on the HVAC unit, to "rate" the energy efficiency. In California, HERS testing is mandatory on any new HVAC installation or major part replacement.

Get it done and easy! Our certified HERS raters can come to your new home, remodeled home, or commercial space and test the efficiency of the HVAC (Air conditioning and Heating) unit using the following HERS tests:

HVAC Assessment Good news for public schools-

AB 841 is underway to provide funding for improved ventilation and plumbing in schools across California (also known as CalSHAPE).

The ventilation grant requires an HVAC assessment done by a certified TAB technician or Qualified Testing Personnel.

The assessment includes verifying that each HVAC system is properly ventilated, supplying enough air and outside air, adequate filtration, and much more.

CALHERS is a certified HVAC Assessment provider.

Exhaust (Kitchen) Hood Testing Air Balancing

Exhaust Hood Testing Health departments across California are now requiring Exhaust Fan testing on restaurants that are new or changing ownership. The purpose is to verify proper functionality of the exhaust ventilation hood and make-up air system.

Testing, adjusting and balancing the exhaust system will include confirming proper exhaust capability and adequate make-up air, which will establish a healthy cooking environment.
